The car was later bought by Chris Evans at auction in the USA for £496,415, but has lost its GEN II plate and been re-registered 772 YUJ. 5 – In the 1990s, BCA sold the actual 1964 Austin Princess Hearse that had been used for the funeral of Sir Winston Churchill in January 1965.

  BMW Classic commissions remanufacture of orginal BMW 328 gearbox 22 Mar 2012 (News)
  The first prototypes have already been installed in the works vehicles of BMW Group Classic. During the course of the year, they will undergo endurance testing at a variety of driving events. BMW Classic is anticipating deliveries to customers at the end of this year or the beginning of next year.     On the ground, taking centre stage will be a classic car show – organised by the Teesside Yesteryear Motor Club, more than 400 pristine models of car along with a variety of motorcycles and buses from the period will drive into Croft Circuit for a mouth-watering display.
