• Peugeot Partner Combi - 3 front seats and twins 25 Mar 2010 (Forum)
  ok guys this is a weird question. I have a 53 plate Peugeot Partner van which has 2 front seats. I have seen on a couple of websites pictures which show 3 front seats so I am assuming its possible to fit these instead of my 2. Is this possible? Has anyone done it?

  Mechanics have no had it on diagnostic again and now showing particulate filter fault ?? My car does not have this part fitted as explained by peugeot direct. Mechanics say one minute car runs fine then 20 min later once again missing slightly ??? By the way car did not show any faults on dash when i took it in for repair and also had full service less than 100 miles ago.

  Hello all, I'm having a bit of a problem picking up my new Alfa. We put an old Peugeot 106 in for scrapping about 12 weeks ago, got told everything approved a few weeks back and we went to collect new car yesterday. Unfortunately it turns out our address on Peugeot logbook was slightly wrong (We didn't notice and why would you seeing the registration document came to our house) and Alfa dealer saying they can't release new car.

  Bought a 1997 1.9 Peugeot 306 diesel last week for knocking about in, grand little runner and is frugal on the fuel, however this morning after fitting a new stereo (turned out to be broken) it won't start. I refitted the new stereo to no avail, I disconnected the battery in an attempt to reset the immobiliser to no avail, I checked all the fuses and they're all fine, for some reason the fuel gauge reads empty despite the fact I filled it last night!

  Hi Peugeot 407 SV Hdi Just wondered if anyone can help or advise. I am not extremely technical so bear with me. A few week ago I had what appeared like a fuel starvation problem (erratic response) and a warning on my car - "Depollution system faulty".

  I have a Peugeot 607 STD 2.2 first registered 16 October 2002 - over the last few weeks the dashboard has been indicating several problems and when these flash up the engine cuts out and although I am able to re-start the engine as soon as I try to rev the engine to engage the gears it cuts out again - normally the car will start to work normally again after about 30 minutes then there can be a delay of anything from a few miles to several hundred miles before I have any more problems... the messages on the dashboard consist of a couple of images of an engine block, a warning triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle and ESP above the triangle and ASR below the triangle - and then a verbal message saying ASR/ESP System Defective or Anti-Pollution System Defective.

  There have been many different problems with this car over the last few years but one problem will not go away.. The alarm goes off for no apparent reason. The official Peugeot dealer that I used to go to has closed down so I had to switch to a different one. These new people say that the last alarm activation is not held in memory so they are have problems finding the reason for the alarm going off.

  Took above vehicle to peugeot to be code read as it was underpowered and not lifting rev's above 3000 rpm the following code's came up. Engine Ecu Permanent fault. Pef: particulate emission filter.

  I bought a peugeot 406 with a badly damaged remote key. The blade is fine and works well. However, the fob is missing the rubber buttons and one of the smaller buttons(that will be under the rubber part) on the chip also.

  I am thinking that air is getting in somewhere under the bonnet and allowing the diesel to run back into the tank, but i don't know where and i can't see any leaks. Has anyone else had this problem on the peugeot 1.9 TD engine? cheers Jon

  Hi there i have a peugeot 306 1997 miami 1.4 my key snapped in the ignition, so i got a replacement barrel and key, was all fitted and went to start the car it would not tick over. i was then told it was the immobiliser in my key thob and to swap the magnets over in the new key thob.

  Car : 1997 Peugeot 306 D-Turbo. Hello there, I have owned this car for around 8 months and of late has become terrible at starting. It wasn't the best at starting when I first bought it but replacement glow plugs cured this.

  Peugeot 306 1994 Mardi Gras 5 door Folks, The left hand front road lamp is dimmer than it should be. The right hand front road lamp works just fine. All other lamps on the car are working just fine. So I went down to Halfords and got another : the bulb replaced is a GE H4 12V 55/60W 50440U E1 2D7 HUNGARY C.

  All the electrics still seem to be working fine.Another thing I need to mention is that I bought the car off ebay a few month's back and despite being promised them, I don't have any keycodes, manual, service history, etc.Is there anything I can do to clear this or do I need to take the car into a Peugeot Dealer?   A knocking noise has developed coming fom the "belts" side of the engine, quite loud when started from cold. The local Peugeot garage listened to it (warmed up, of course) and said they couldn't hear anything wrong. They've kept the car and will have another listen when it's cold. My thoughts are that the problem could be the damped crankshaft pulley that drives the auxiliary belt.

  It's not been recalled for the sticky ignition switch problem, and she's never noticed any problem with the ignition. She has spoken to Peugeot as it's still under warranty, but they are being very cagey and have told the dealer to say only that "the matter is in hand and peugeot are dealing with it". However the dealer has said that 307's do have a tendancy to catch fire in the fuse box or if an electrical connector near the power steering pump gets wet.

  Hi Essentially I'm trying to establish whether Peugeot will do anything for a car that has just gone out of warranty. My girlfriend's sister has a 206 hdi which now has 37,000 miles, apparently her father topped up the oil adding nearly a litre in June (she didn't notice the oil level monitor until it started to flash) when the car went for its 36,000 mile sevice the (local vat registered) mechanic reported an oil leak coming from the back of the engine possibly from below the rocker cover (the entire engine is soaked) and had advised her to go back to peugeot as the car was just out of warranty (may 06) this was a few weeks ago.

  Peugeot 406 auto, 100k miles I?ve never been convinced by the gear change on my 406, it doesn?t slam instantaneously into the next gear like all my other autos have - sometimes it?s as slow as changing manually and kind of revs inbetween changes.
• JVC CD tuner fitment - Peugeot 106 17 Aug 2005 (Forum)
  Has anyone got experience of fitting a JVC 45Wx4 CD tuner (or other brand) in place of the OE unit on a Peugeot 106 1.1 XN (late 96 facelift) version or similar trim level model. The iso cable connectors from the JVC unit look identical to the OE unit, but there are dire warnings in the JVC manual about how certain speaker wiring configurations, eg commonised return speaker wires, will cause serious damage.
• Rover 620 Diesel - Advice 1 Jun 2005 (Forum)
  I am looking for a newer Diesel to replace my Citroen ZX and two of the cars I am considering at the moment are the Rover 620 Diesel and the Peugeot 405. I am familiar with the XUD engine as have had Peugeots and Citroens before with this engine - and have found it to be reliable. The car I am not sure about is the Rover - because I have had no experience of the engine, and don't know anyone who has had one either.
