  One additional problem is that the gearbox was supposedly fixed earlier this year by a non Renault garage and they obviously made a right hash of it. I can't see that I have any real claim against Renault this time, although it should never have happened in March to a 5 year old car. A properly made gearbox should last longer than 5 years."

  I have a N reg renault clio 1.4 RT that will not start, the fuel pump relay cuts in on initial cranking but then cuts out, sometimes the engine attempts to start up but then stops. I removed the air box, cranked the vehicle and shorted the relay and found no fuel to be injecting in.

  Hello my friend has had a timing belt go on his 1.8 petrol renault scenic. Just wondering whether its total carnage or could it just be top end damage. He said he was doing about 40mph when it went. Does anyone know if the 1.8 laguna engine is the same as the one for the scenic as ive been told it is.

  Hi there  i have a renault traffic van and the  window wiper  control lever is not working, i am going to change this out with a new one .i have not ordered the part yet . do you need to take the steering wheel off to change this lever or does it just bolt on from the side.

  My Renault Scenic (Y reg/ 2001; 1.6L) has recently started to blow cold air on my feet. However, it blows hot air out of the other vents. The cold air seems to blow irrespective of the direction setting too.

  My first time at this so here goes ...... Bought a brand new Renault Scenic from a local car supermarket at good discounted price. Uk spec vehicle which they claim came direct from Renault BUT.... when I ask about the 3 year Renault Assistance breakdown cover that comes with all new Scenics they are claiming this will only apply to cars bought from a main dealer.

   Had car back and the window will go down once and back up - but is then locked from moving for 30 seconds.  Dealer had car back and changed the regulator, but same problem. Car into another Renault dealer at the request of Renault UK and they too diagnosed the regulator and changed it again.  Third regulator and the window still does the same thing. The weird thing is it locks out for exactly 30 seconds.
