renault traffic dci 100 sl27 - window wiper switch - tommy t

Hi there

i have a renault traffic van and the window wiper control lever is not working, i am going to change this out with a new one .i have not ordered the part yet .

do you need to take the steering wheel off to change this lever or does it just bolt on from the side.
