Timeless German classic goes under the hammer 7 Sep 2016 (News)
Hans came from the industrial Prym dynasty, a family who for 12 generations had produced haberdashery, copper, and brass products, leading to Hans becoming known locally as the ‘zipper king. The 500K was subsequently stolen, but now – after having returned to the family more than 80 years later, it sold at our Chantilly. -
British Motor Museum opens after £1.1m refurbishment 15 Feb 2016 (News)
Previously known as the Heritage Motor Centre, the museum now boasts more interactive displays and a new collections centre. Visitors now access the museum via a new entrance, which leads in to a gallery. Areas of the museum are now themed, with zones for concept cars, royal cars, motor sport, plus motors from film and television. The cars are also displayed in more innovative ways, with Land Rovers scaling a makeshift mountain and concepts sat on giant, Matchbox-style boxes. -

Research from Insurance company Aviva has shown that having primary school children leads to as many as 8415 miles of extra journeys each year. On average those miles are split into 31 short journeys a week – mostly trips to friends houses, sports club and – of course – the school run. -
TomTom available for more smart phones 5 Dec 2012 (News)
TomTom, the leading third party navigation provider and sat-nav manufacturer has increased the number of smart phones its application is avilable for. Its Navigation App was recently introduced on Android 'phones, and this has now been optimised to work on popular handsets including the Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC One X and Google Nexus 4. -

On its website, VOSA states that the models are being recalled because "Engine speed may not decrease. The engine oil level may rise. This situation may lead to the engine speed being maintained or possibly increased after the throttle pedal is released. In an extreme situation the engine may continue to run after it has been switched off." Other recalls in recent months include a fuel leak on the Chevrolet Cruze (831 cars involved), risk of fire on the Jeep Wranger (14 cars involved), failing brake lights on the Nissan Pixo (646 cars involved) and a jamming rear bench on the Renault Grand Modus (4403 cars involved). -
