Overall reliability

Practical, very well equipped, quick, easy to drive, economical, more a utility vehicle that a luxury one.

After a month involving long trips and local ones, we are finding the GLB to be a very practical and useful vehicle. We’ve had four adults, two kids and three dogs in it, using one third row seat; very easy. Have achieved 50 mpg on long runs, found seats and driving position very comfortable. This is our first car with MBUX, driver assistance and multi beam LED headlights, all of which have been revelations. Alexa-like voice control works well. Easy to drive, neutral handling and controls do not impose on the driver.
Down side? More hard plastics and less sound insulation than our previous 2016 GLC, but has a slightly smaller footprint (3 inches narrower) which we wanted, is livelier to drive and is significantly cheaper to buy and run.
So this is not an enthusiast’s car, but as a versatile, comfortable utility vehicle that is easy to live with, it excels.
