9 years on, just like this car more and more

I got this car after an E250Mercedes and when we first got it, I was a little disappointed by the lack of command interface as we had bought the sport which had the cheaper Garmin version. I have got used to it now and it’s not too bad to be honest.
As with most cars the longer you have them the more you like them and I have to say after nine years this car is still wonderful to drive ,super comfortable ,quiet, great handling ,nice chunky steering feel super safe.
It has honestly been trouble free and I get amazing life out of the tires considering it’s quite a large car on four-wheel-drive.
We do look after our cars and I have to say the interior looks like new with no signs of wear.
The engine is quite punchy and never feels underpowered. The only thing you have to be aware of is that the takeoff from standing still there’s a bit of a delay so on a roundabout you have to remember you might have a one second delay from pressing the accelerator to the car taking off. So it’s not a good idea to try and dart out in front of traffic at the last minute but driven in a more sensible and leisurely fashion is very calming. On the open road, it drives really well and has enough punch to overtake cars easily, et cetera.
A lot of people complain about crabbing at low speed and certainly ours does this as well but doesn’t bother me and to be fair we have a Porsche 911 that is exactly the same. It’s a combination of big wide tires and steering angle..
Honestly, can’t think of a car we would rather own apart from maybe a new one and we just hope this one goes on and on forever.
So I give this car four stars as no car is really perfect, The rear legroom is a bit cramped, Considering such a large car. The front seats are a little hard, which is the same for all Mercedes in fact on long journeys I’ve even put a cushion underneath my bottom.
But really, I am grasping at straws to find anything to complain about.
