New cars for 2010 to include expanded Nissan range

Thu, 14 Jan 2010
Nissan is soon to introduce new cars into its range, including the NV200 Combi.

The manufacturer, which intends for the model to hit showrooms in February, says it will provide families with a compact hatchback with five or seven seats for prices starting from £15,685.

It recommends the NV200 for those who want a combination of multi-purpose vehicle and van, because of its wide appeal.

Moreover, the Combi has an "ultra-efficient" engine under the bonnet, returning a "thrifty 53.3 mpg in the combined cycle with CO2 emissions of only 139g/km, keeping running costs in line with the top value list prices".

Nissan's light commercial vehicle sales and marketing director Francis Bleasdale added that many families are likely to be tempted by the model, because it is so versatile.

"The Combi version widens the appeal of the van outside of the normal LCV market," she added.

Last month saw Nissan announce it had updated the Qashqai Crossover for 2010, adding features such as LED rear lights.
