They seemed to have changed a lot lately. I got a quote off them for my wifes car a year ago and it was almost worth considering. A couple of months ago I sold the same car for £3100 easily, when we buy any car quoted £2100 !!

So the trades descriptions act should force them to rename the company "We Buy any Car Cheaply to those that are desperate for some money" !

Absolutely - you don't get owt for nowt. I tried asking Suresell what my Y-registration BMW Z3 2.2 would go for and they said £3,500 max. A similar car will be advertised privately for at least £5k , often nearer £6k.

I presume - given that they would earn more commission on a higher selling price - that they just want to push through lots of cars. They won't include mine so they are being short-sighted..
