I know everyone moans about it but I happened to catch Driven tonight.
I thought it was quite amusing in a light harted sort of way.
Certainly nothing featured on there that the average man couldn't get, just some tin cans from Audi and Saab, and an ugly hot hatch from Alfa.
Car sumo is quite fun.
This was after a bottle of red however. My wife didn't find it quite so amusing ;)

If C4 were to donate a bottle of red to me every week I'd happily watch Drivel !!

Er, there's a lesson here about reading all the current posts before posting - sorry Richard, I should have added my drivel stuff after your posting rather than starting a new thread.
I'd agree with you, this week wasn't as awful as I'd remembered, but JP was beginning to look very embarrased by the Sumo thing and they've dropped a lot of the terrible graphics "Tunnel of Spin" for example. No pointlessly revving engines either. However, it might be too late to save it (see my other thread).
Interesting though that my enjoyment was inspired by a nice Bordeaux and yours wine fuelled too. A pattern is emerging!
And briefly - Channel 5 Worst driver : Pretty much rubbish, but VBH is looking a bit rough now (ducks for cover) and it seems the count's hair is entirely combed back from a central point in his head. The shot when he was consoling the teary Welsh lady showed the sun shining through very well. He is a very good presenter though.
Off now to finish the wine,
Lee.

Watched Driven tonight, because there was nothing else on and excessive wine prvented me getting off the armchair and doing anything else.
But.
The programme ended with a preview of "next week" with Penny promoting a Range Rover item and some other stuff.
The voice over announced that there'll be no drivel next week, but a programme of highlights and then a review programme at the end of the year.
Has the abysmal quality of this new series proved its downfall and the plug has been pulled?
Opinions/views appreciated, although I'd understand if no-one was watching.

That's certainly the impression I got from the way the announcer spoke.. Oh well, back to the gardening programmes I guess..

Or has the PC brigade been meddling again?
