Do RR owners do anything so base as use a forum? I'm trying to find the UK (I think) owner of a vintage RR who is not a member of the RREC. I have the reg of the car.

Bentley Drivers' Club certainly has one - maybe you could try for a link from there?

If you go to the DVLA site you can find out how/whether this can be done at www.dvla.gov.uk/foi/relinfo.aspx

I think 'reasonable cause' is the issue. If you wanted to send an unclamping penalty to the owner you presumably would have no problem. On the other hand, if you want say to make him/her an offer for the car, who knows? A small fee is involved.

VMT - but all I want to do is forward the owner some ephemera that I have found in my father's effects. He owned the car from 1953 to 1960.
