On my 2001 VW Passat there's a rattle from inside the centre air vent (above the radio). I need to remove the grille and vent but can't find any way of doing so. Does anyone know how to remove the vent without destroying anything please?

By careful prising in the right places, usually. It does take a certain amount of guts to remove certain plastic trim nowadays...
