Should I claim against Volkswagen for the emissions scandal?

I owned an Audi for seven years that was affected by the diesel emission scandal. Although I sold the car twi years ago I notice that there are legal firms offering to make a group claim against Volkswagen. I am sure that the value of this vehicle fell considerably in the few months before I sold it due to the emissions scandal. Please can you advise whether it is worth making a claim and if so the best way to proceed?

I had the Volkswagen emissions fix done in February. Then had to pay shortly afterwards for EGR valve with a reduced goodwill rate of £500 as car kept going into limp mode. Performance has been worse since...
My SEAT had the "fix", which has ruined the performance and fuel consumption and will likely lead to EGR failure in the future. Can I reset it by disconnecting the battery? Slim hope, I know.
