Have the EGR valve cleaned periodically, likewise check the rear brakes for binding and ask when the gearbox oil was last replaced. Kia has promoted the Soul EV by taking over a fuel station and giving away full tanks of fuel for just £2.80. The promotional stunt took place at an unnamed garage to highlight the Soul EV’s ability to cover up to 132 miles from a full charge costing just £2.80. Each motorist was charged less than the price of a takeaway sandwich for their fuel, no matter how much they had put into their vehicle. Supermarkets often come up with ways to entice customers into their stores, not least by offering money off fuel. The latest offers come from Tesco and Asda – though they’re quite different.
