  • High Mileage 306 HDI 27 Aug 2004 (Forum)
I am looking at purchasing a used Peugeot 306. What would be considered high mileage for a Peugeot 306 HDI estate? Also if anyone could tell me anything imparticular I should look out for or anything I should be asking the seller when viewing such a car, I'd be grateful.
  • Peugeot 306 glow lamp dash light!! 23 Aug 2004 (Forum)
Ok, my 306 diesel has no glow lamp light on the dash! It takes 2-3 cranks to start so i assume the lamps are not heating. However, i've changed the glow...

  • Peugeot 405 - cracked heads ? 29 Mar 2003 (Forum)

  • Peugeot 508 SW year Sept 66 - Dual Mass Flywheel 22 Dec 2019 (Forum)
Alas the warranty had lapsed just 8 weeks prior to the fault being discovered .The vehicle  mileage is just 40,000 and I am told and  believe this is not an uncommon occurrence. I am currently waiting to see if Peugeot feel that a flywheel failure at 40,000 is something they should be obliged to rectify without cost to the customer .We wait to see what happens
  • Peugeot 106 - Starting Problem 24 Mar 2019 (Forum)
My Granddaughter has a 1.1 Peugeot 106 "R" reg. When starting the car normally, as you turn the key a solonoid or something similar operates, you can hear it from the drivers position although it is not so audible from under the bonnet.
  • Peugeot 208 - Do you think this is repairable? 11 Jun 2018 (Forum)
Thought I would be able to upload some photos.. but maybe not.   So I managed to tear a roof rack off my Peugeot 208 yesterday.. yes I know..   I have damaged the vehicle in numerous places, but I think the main concern being where the 4x connectors were attached to the car. Each one has been pulled/dented/deep scratched.
  • Peugeot 307 SW - Aircon regas 22 Apr 2018 (Forum)
I should start by saying I'm not technical/mechanical at all! I have an old (but well maintained) 2004 Peugeot 307.  I use the aircon all the time to cool in summer and demist, etc... in cooler months.  I've noticed recently that it's no longer producing cold air. Options are limited where I live, so I called Kwik Fit and they quoted £60 and said they'd need the car for an hour.
  • Peugeot 2008 - Hire Car Charges at Belfast - How to dispute them? 22 Mar 2017 (Forum)
I recently hired a Peugeot 2008 for 3 days from Belfast airport, upon returning the car they found damage to the left wing mirror. I had not damaged this part during my hire term, but the damage wasn't noted on the car when I picked it up so I accept I'll have to pay for it.
  • Peugeot 207 hid. Active - Central locking & clock resetting problems 27 Feb 2016 (Forum)
Hi, I have very recently bought a Peugeot 207 hid. Active 2011. I have a problem with the central locking. The central locking doesn't work, however if I open the door manually and then put the key in the ignition and turn it to the first position all the doors unlock.
  • Peugeot 107 3 Door Urban - Was mine the only crap one then? 11 Jul 2015 (Forum)

  • Peugeot 307 - Air Pollution / No Turbo 26 Mar 2015 (Forum)
Hoping someone can help me here; my 2002 Peugeot 307 HDI 110bhp is displaying the 'Air Pollution' Fault (seems to be fairly common). The turbo does not appear to be working and I have tried suggested clearing methods (such as 50mph in third gear) but this just resulted in the ESP warning light and limiting the car to about 2600 revs.
  • Peugeot 406 - Reliable Old Diesel Commuter Required 11 Nov 2014 (Forum)
Age and desirability are not much of an issue. Following research on previous threads I think maybe a Peugeot 406 HDI 2 litre or an older Mondeo [not TDCI due to various reliability horror stories I've read]. Alternatively a Rover 75 possibly or a Skoda Octavia. To achieve 50mpg with a sub £2K budget would be ideal in one of the older models without as much worry about massive repair bills I've seen associated with the more recent diesels.
  • Peugeot 406 HDI water in driver footwell 7 Jan 2014 (Forum)
Can't work out if water is coming in at boot and getting to front or vice-versa. Help, any ideas? Have heard that Peugeot useless, and very expensive at "diagnosing".
  • Peugeot 406 - Under-bonnet insulation has collapsed - removable? 6 Aug 2013 (Forum)
Hi, The heavy duty insultation attached to the underside of my 1998 Peugeot 406 bonnet has lost its shape and collapsed. From the rub markings on the top of the engine, it appears to be touching the top of the engine when the bonnet is closed.
  • Peugeot 307 - How easy to change a particle filter 3 Apr 2013 (Forum)
You can find particle filters on the net for about £140, cheaper than the usual £650 fitted at peugeot dealer!! Are these reliable and easy to fit oneself? (with the help from the Haynes manual!)
  • Peugeot 406 Coupe 2.2 hdi - esp intermittant fault also fuel cap open light 12 Mar 2013 (Forum)
This is an intermittant fault that only comes on when my daughter reaches 70 miles an hour, once this comes on the car goes into safe mode with the car becoming sluggish. It usually goes off when the car is left and started again, i have had into peugeot and they have checked all the wiringand seems to be fine and they say it could be a new esp unit which is 1000 pound . I read in one of the other  messages it could be a faulty fuel filler cap sensor  that can cause abs and other warning lights to come on can you please advise as she loves the car but cant afford the 1000 pound fix
  • Peugeot 407 SW 2.0 HDi 136 - Intermittant turbo problem? 16 Feb 2013 (Forum)
I have recently started driving the Peugeot as one of our pool cars at work. It seems to have an intermittent fault with the turbo and I was wondering if anyone could give any pointers. Generally seems fine to drive but on several journeys recently when on a motorway when going uphill it seems the turbo stops working to the extent that to get to the top you are having to drop down to 4 th gear and the speed is falling away rapidly.
