  The Volkswagen Polo now comes with Bluetooth as standard on all models above the entry-level S trim - a feature which was previously a £245 option. The Touch Phone Kit adds a 2.8-inch colour touchscreen to the Polo’s dashboard which displays a phone book and call lists depending on the make and model of the phone to which it is connected.  The Touch Phone Kit also offers voice control of functions including dialling and answering, and can even ‘read’ out text messages and emails that are received.  Two telephones can be connected at the same time.

  VW offers support for Tyre Safety Month 1 Oct 2007 (News)
  A major international car manufacturer has backed the UK's first tyre safety awareness month. German company Volkswagen (VW) has added their support to the campaign from TyreSafe, allowing drivers to use their garages, forecourts and dealerships to receive free checks on their automobile's tyres. The firm commented that it was pleased to become the first automaker to back the cause.

  Volkswagen looks to shake up electric SUV market with new ID.4 3 Mar 2020 (News)
  The battery will also be compatible with the UK's 100kW rapid charging network, which will allow the driver to boost the battery from near-zero to 80 per cent in around 30 minutes.  Volkswagen hasn't released any pricing information for the ID.4, but it will command a significant premium over the ID.3's £27,000 starting price. All versions will get LED tail and headlights as standard.
