A Grand Monday: Ford Mondeo Mk 1 6 Feb 2017 (News)
It's not the best spec or engine gearbox combo - a 1.8 LX auto - but it'll still be a perfectly pleasant car to drive, and with just 75k on the clock of a car that was designed from the outset to gobble up motorway miles, it's barely run-in. It also has a very Nineties blue cloth interior with matching blue dashboard. It's how we rolled back in the early days of Britpop, and there's no better way of listening to Blur's Charmless Man on cassette than on this period perfect Ford audio system - one thing Ford always did brilliantly was car radios... -

Comment: Is it time to buy a dash cam for your van? 7 Mar 2016 (News)
. Dash cams are particularly useful for builders and delivery drivers who spend long periods in their van because – by law of averages – they have an increased chance of running into trouble simply because they’re on the road for longer periods than most other non-professional drivers. Aside from the obvious advantage of being able to prove who was liable in an accident, it is also possible to get an insurance discount with some firms offering as much as 10 per cent off for drivers who use a dash cam in their van. -

Why these classic cars are redefining what's cool 27 Jul 2015 (News)
But early 911s aren’t within reach of most of us, and there’s just as much fun to be had in running something more ordinary, more mundane, more mainstream, but in many ways just as exotic due to its sheer rarity value. If it turns heads and gets people talking, and more to the point, you enjoy owning it, it’s a classic. -

A Grand Monday: Isuzu Piazza Turbo 4 Aug 2014 (News)
We’re told the only noticeable bits are on the tailgate and that there’s a small bit by the fuel flap; the vendor thinks this car has been rust-proofed since new. So why sell? ‘I have owned the car since December 2011. It was bought as a running vehicle and I've done less than 400 miles in it since buying it. I travelled to London and back to get it, and drove it occasionally for a few months trouble free.’ If we were buying it, we’d want to get to the bottom of why it’s had such little use – cars that cover low mileages can come with their own challenges. -
