  Hyundai's 7-Seater Goes Diesel 6 Jun 2001 (News)
  Hyundai's attractive Trajet MPV is now available with a new 1,991cc direct injected diesel engine and manual or automatic transmission. The power output is 111bhp at 4,000 rpm with 188 lbs ft (255 Nm) torque at 2,000 rpm. This gives the Trajet a top speed of 106mph and a 0-60 of 13.8 seconds, though obviously not while fully loaded.

  Road Sign Information supports the driver by displaying road signs in the instrument cluster. The new Active High Beam technology offers automatic switching between high and low beam at the right moment. Tunnel Detection automatically turns on the headlights when the car enters a tunnel. All models fitted with an automatic gearbox will come with the new illuminated gearshift knob, recently introduced in the all-new Volvo V40.
