What is it? This is the La Specialista from De’Longhi, a semi-automatic coffee maker that blends traditional pump expresso quality with the features and convenience of a bean-to-cup machine. Wrapped in stainless steel, this two-cup machine has a built-in burr bean grinder, tamping station, pre-programmed recipes and a semi-automatic milk heater/frother.

The Car: 1) Ask yourself and other caravanners. Is it the car really man enough to tow your van? 2) If it is an automatic take it to a solely automatic gearbox expert company ask them for their opinion. I took mine to a specialist automatic g/box company who serviced police and other public services transmissions. I had to wait a few weeks.

  • Top 10: Best motorcycle cameras and helmet cams (Article)
The display screen is 2.4-inches and can be used to review your footage, while the system has a built-in G-sensor to automatically save the footage in the event of an incident. Crosstour Action Camera 1080p The downside of using a standard action camera on your motorcycle helmet is that they are less aerodynamic than bullet cams, but the upsides are plentiful.
  • Top 10: Best sat navs with dash cams (Article)
Live traffic updates are available but require a connection to your phone. Its wide-angle HD camera records continually, too, instead of automatically capturing incidents. Usefully, however, a version designed for caravans and motorhomes is also available.   Mio MiVue Drive 55 LM – from around £219.99 The Drive 65 is unquestionably an appealing unit but it’s also expensive.
  • Review: Mio MiVue 658 WiFi dash camera (productReview)
The 2.7-inch screen is bright and easy to read, while the car mount fits without hassle.  The camera automatically activates when you switch on the vehicle's ignition and records all aspects of your journey onto an SD card. It then automatically overwrites the data when the card is full, but it can save clips permanently when prompted by either you or the inbuilt   G-sensor.
  • Review: Ring RAC 610 analogue air compressor (productReview)
width=500&height=333.33333333333337" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/8b97b2fb9b4048b99d1be1a796b554e3" /> The RAC 610 doesn’t do anything particularly fancy - it goes without the torch and flashing light of the 635, as well as the automatic cut off. It’s a small, lightweight device with an air hose that wraps up neatly and a wire to plug into your car’s 12v power outlet. Does it work?
  • FLASHING OTHER DRIVERS: Is it illegal to flash other drivers to warn them of a speed trap? (FAQs)
'Flashing someone out in front of you' can be misinterpreted, so drivers should exercise caution and not automatically assume they are being 'flashed out' unless the behaviour of the other driver confirms this.
  • Top 10: Best tyre inflators 2023 (Article)
Tacklife ACP1C digital tyre inflator This Tacklife compressor, like the Ring RAC635, features a system that automatically pumps the tyre up to the desired pressure then stops. It’s not quite as quick as the Ring, taking four minutes instead of three to inflate a tyre from 0-35 psi, but it comes with four adaptors to allow you to pump up the likes of bicycle tyres and balls – and it has a similar integral light.
  • Review: Tile Slim (productReview)
The Slim has the same 30 metre Bluetooth range as the Mate - the more advanced Tile Sport and Style have a range of 60 metres. Beyond this range, the app will automatically record the last time and place it saw the unit, giving you a good idea of where to look first. Once it's picked it up on Bluetooth, you can 'ring' your Tile from your phone to track it down.
  • Review: Roadhawk HD-2 dash camera (productReview)
Like most dash cameras, the HD-2 starts up when the ignition is turned on and records automatically, though since there is no screen it has an audio message and LED to let the driver know it has started up, and another when it finds GPS reception. Aside from that, you can forget about it and get on with driving – the only other thing to think about is the E button for saving interesting or important clips.
  • In-car audio gadget (Article)
Aigital Bluetooth Speakerphone The sleek looking Aigital bluetooth speakerphone clips onto your sun visor and comes in two colours - black or white. It automatically turns on and connects as soon as you open the car door and it can also stream music from your phone.     Anker SoundSync Drive Bluetooth Receiver The Anker SoundSync adds Bluetooth connectivity to any car with an aux audio input and a 12V accessory socket or USB port.
  • Top 10: Car-related “movers and shakers” from Amazon (Article)
Just beware that some car makers will top you up for nothing if you pop to the dealership…   Ring RAC610 tyre inflator We recently tested Ring’s higher-end RAC 635 and we were impressed. That model has a digital screen and automatically cuts off when the tyre reaches the desired pressure - but it’s not as popular on Amazon as the cheaper RAC 610. This has an analogue pressure gauge and no automatic cut-off, but for £14.99 or even less with one of the frequent Amazon discounts, it’s more justifiable as a purchase for lots of motorists and should do the job almost as well as the RAC 635.

  • Review: Nuna Leaf Grow (productReview)
We really like how it looks although we do find ourselves repeatedly stubbing our toes on it, but that could be the lack of sleep that comes with a six month old... We think it's important to point out that the Nuna Leaf Grow isn't automatic. It doesn't have power and doesn't automatically swing or vibrate like some baby bouncers. Instead you simply swing it with your hand. The swinging motion is lovely and smooth but you'll have to keep pushing it every couple of minutes to keep it going.
  • Review: Piaggio MP3 500 Sport (productReview)
It’s also best not to set off with the front wheels locked vertical until you get used to the way this automatically releases. Soon, though, you’ll find yourself balancing the bike as you slow to a standstill at the lights and won’t always need to put your foot down. It’s not a dirty business either. Obviously you’re open to the elements, but you can get mittens to cover the handgrips and even a sort of tent contraption to keep your legs warm and dry.
  • Review: Ring RAC 635 digital air compressor (productReview)
The RAC 635 is one of a series of air compressors from Ring. It boasts a digital readout for choosing a preset air pressure, plus an automatic cut-off that stops when the desired pressure is reached. It connects to a 12v accessory socket and can inflate a flat tyre to 35psi in around three minutes. What's it like? The unit is small enough to keep inside the car and comes with the 12v connector, wiring and air hose neatly tucked away inside – then it all packs neatly into a storage case.
  • Used Van Buying Guide: Toyota Hilux 2004-2015 16 Jun 2025 (News)
The automatic gained an extra gear, for five, while the torque output of the standard 3.0-litre engine increased to 350Nm. The changes helped improve economy and emissions, while all benefitted from bigger brakes as part of the changed specification.
