  My car is one month out of warranty and I notice the TCS/DSC ( dynamic stability control)warning light stays on when driving, all other warning lights are off. Any ideas before I take it to a Mazda dealer, we do not have one in Gloucester and the dealer has just changed in Cheltenham so I do not know their track record

    I've had the hardship of having the complete failure of a 2.0 TD engine in a 2003 Mazda 6. The car's been pretty problem free since with a new engine, but is getting up in mileage. I'm looking at upgrading, and looking at estates at the moment. I was wondering were the problems with this engine sorted with the 2.2D engine which appeared about 2008.

  Hi All I have a 2003 Diesel Mazda 6. At low revs the brake pedal goes rock hard which is cured by revving the engine a couple of times. My local garage has already replaced the Master cylinder, Servo Unit and Vacuum Pump. There appears to be no problem with the brake lines or pads etc.

  I have a mazda 6 diesel 136 There is a loud rattle noise coming from the left side of the engine When looking under the bonnet it looks like the tension pully for the alternator is vibrating? When I put my foot on the clutch pedal the noise stops I can also feel a vibration on the clutch pedal Can these be related as the clutch is on the other side of the engine?

  Having serviced my son's Mazda 6 Diesel at the weekend, I noticed the rear pads will soon need replacing. To change these is it a simple job of push back the calipers and replace or do I need some sort of tool to ratchet the caliper pistons back?

  I want to change headlight bulbs for brighter ones on my 57 reg Mazda. However there is not enough room at the rear of the light cluster to turn and remove the bulb holder. There appears to be one screw and one bolt retaining the headlight cluster, which if removed would allow the cluster to come forwards and give more room to remove the bulbs.

  The power steering on my 2 year old Mazda 323 hisses once the car is warmed through and can be heard easily in the cabin. The noise occurs when turing the steering wheel a couple of degrees to the left - not even as far as full lock.

  I also saw in one of the Mazda service manuals that Castrol is recommended the absence of Mazda official own band lubricant that the dealers use. The only thing I'm not sure on is that this particular oil also meets ' Ford WSS-M2C913-C/ WSS-M2C913-D specifications' .
