2004 mazda 6 - 2004 Mazda 6 making a whining hallow sound - briandavis

Please any help with this would be helpful. The car has begun to make a loud whining hallow noise and idles rough with the occasional stall out. Thanks

Sounds like a split breather hose.There is one that runs from the bottom of the inlet manifold to the front of the engine block.You can't see it from above.
