  Hi When i went to fill my screenwash on my Nissan Cube the other week I noticed it looks like oil is getting out of the filler cap. So a couple of noddy questions - could it just be the seal on the filler cap? the o-rings on it look fine and don't look perished and probably the second more important question is should oil be getting anywhere near there in the first place?

  i am due to have my car go in for a service/m.o.t. tomorrow and i have been advised that the car that Nissan will give me is a Micra. they have told me that it will have a quarter tank of fuel and that i will need to re-fill before i return it. Only advisories were that the offside rear tyre is worn close to limit so will need replacing, the offside front wheel bearing has slight play and the front bumper mountings are corroded but not likely to become detached.

  Hi, I am having a problem with my nissan qashqai.  When I am accelerating (most notibly on motorway above 50mph, although do feel slight vibration at lower speed) the car starts vibrating, it can sometimes be pretty bad.  This only happens when putting power through the car, if I engage the clutch it dissapears.

  I am help my daughter to find her very first car for cheap to running and to insure. Her licence is for automatic only, she is really like the Nissan Mirca 2002 1.0 CVT with 63,000 owned by elderly lady with excellent full service history. But when I hear the word CVT sound very complications, I went search on Google to see how it works, when I see a picture of the chain/rubber belt inside the transmission do this required to replace like the timing belt?

  They didn't have the radio code but said they could get it if I needed it. I called them the other day to ask if they can obtain it. They said that they contacted Nissan but they don't keep it, but it can be found printed on top of the radio if it is taken out. 1) Do Almeras actually have a radio code? 2) If so, would I find it on top of the radio if I remove it?

  We bought a Nissan Micra 02 reg from a local garage as our 2nd car - has all been fine except it won't start easily first thing in the morning or when it's been parked in a multi storey car park all day. Took it back to the garage and they said it's because we're using the wrong key - the 2nd key will open doors etc but won't start the car.

  The RAC diagnosed the problem as a leak on the exit pipe of the oil cooler. They transported the vehicle to Nissan main dealer. I phoned to enquire progress and was informed that the vehicle was just out of three year warranty, they had repaired the pipe at the cost of £228 and a new unit would have cost £1000.

  I recently bought a low mileage '98 Nissan Almera - 1.4 Petrol, manual with 75,000 miles. I was told that the oil needs to be changed (trade car) but I didn't change it for about 1,000 miles and it drove perfect. I then changed the oil & filter, the old oil looked extremely dirty as if it wasn't chaged for 30 thousand miles or more.
