  hello,thanks for letting me join,,,i have question to ask,,i have a renault laguna sports wagon 2001,it does not have a factory fitted sat nav system,a friend has a 2005 model with sat nav,,would this system fit my 2001 model,,my wiring loom has quite a few multi pin plugs which are not connected to any thing,,been told these are for sat nav system,is this true,will system fit,,if so s it a easy install,,,appreciate any help/advice,,regards.

  The car is 08 and owned by me from new so I know that it is the original screen. Anyone else come across this problem? Be a waste of time approaching renault now I suppose. I guess it will mean a new screen.

  Hi, I have a Renault Clio 1.6 RT auto. I currently cant not have alot of weight or carry passengers in the back of my car. When some one sits in the back of the car the wheels go up into the wheel arches and screaches, creaks etc.

  Morning. I need to get some new tyres for my 06 Grand Scenic. The details are 205/60/16/92H. I know Renault do their own range of tyres called Motrio, which are quite new so I haven't been able to read a review of them.  They work out to approx £80 each (fully fitted) but they are currently offering a buy 4 for the price of 3 deal.

  Hello, I need some advice for my Espace that broke down today. Renault Espace 2.0 Priviledge Y reg. Auto. It seems to be the automatic gearbox, it won't go forward but will engage reverse. Prior to this we had an electrical sign appear for a few weeks when I accelerated the gearbox got stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear and the sign would come on.

  Hi problem with 2006 1.6 renault scenic- while checking contacts for rear brake-sidelight i shorted the connections, fuse has blown for sidelights (n\s) and i can`t find a fuse - the glovebox fuses are ok and the box under the bonnet next to the battery all seem to be BIG fuses.

  I there chaps i have a 1997 renault clio 1.2 model and its misfiring like chuff at low revs and especially when i floor it . i have changed the H/T leads, air filter, spark plugs and the problem still persists. do you think that dirty fuel injectors are the problem.

  My 2004 1.9dci has been returning poor mpg for a few weeks. Couldn't find problem so took it to local Renault dealer. They say its a faulty "Air compressor sensor". They say that I need to replace this sensor and have air con re gassed in the process. Cost of £320. Is there any fuse I could take out to stop this happening and just live without the air con?

  Hello I was wondering if anyone can help me please....I own a 2000 3.0 v6 24v espace, I have just purchased a second hand cassette deck and surround which is genuine renault and fits into the glove box. I was wondering if anyone had any idea where the wiring loom is located for this (as top spec model I assuming there is one there allready?) I know the radio is under the drivers seat.

  i have a renault scenic diesel 1.9 dci i have just noitice(at night) that when travelling along exessive smoke is being produced it looks white from the mirror. whrn i put my foot down this changes to grey/black can anyone tell me the reason or help with solving the problem. i was told once that you can get a can of oil that you put on the fuel inlet and rev the engine until gone and this solves the problem i look forward to your help.

  Hi, I've got a Renault Megane coupe sport 1.6 1998, the is a problem with the speedo where it seems to work when the car is started from cold then stops shortly afterwards.   Hi, I have a 1995 Renault Espace Champs Elysee' 2.2 Petrol Auto MPV, and when i set off it seems like the gearbox is snatching in first. It works fine in every other gear, and changes up and down smoothly without problem.

  Fault code scanner reports P2413 "Exhaust Gas Recirculation System Performance" Reading about lots of problems with EGR valves on Renaults I decided that must be the problem - so I changed the valve. I still have the same fault - can anyone please please offer any pointers as to what else could be wrong. The car seems to run ok but I am loathe to drive it without knowing what the problem is.

  In between initial purchase and problems occuring i also purchased a scenic fidji 1.9, within 3 months and under 6,000 miles it also required a new engine Has anyone else suffered as much bad luck or do renault have problems with diesel engines??? {Shouting - ie, typing solely in UPPER CASE amended.   For 10K this seems a cracking little car and certainly it felt thoroughly well built when I went to the dealer today. It seems to have the charm and character of the old Renault Five but obviously better engineered given the newness of the design. I like the nifty 'boot chute' as they call it. Would be interested to hear what any owners have found before the cheque book comes out.

  I run a fairly new Renault and am looking without much success for a replacement bulb for a front fog lamp ( no rush cos they only get used abou twice a year ). The bulb is quoted in the owners handbook as H10 which is what is stamped on the plastic bayonet fitting integral with the bulb.

  On reading this site regularly I have only ever noticed issues with coilpacks on VAG products however I'd like all to know that it also extends to Renaults. My wife's Scenic (2001 - 1.6) packed up last week at 18k miles. Apparently 1 coil of the four had gone (driving to the garage was very lumpy) but they replaced all four. The receptionist knew exactly what the problem was and explained they saw cases of it daily and had plenty of stock of spare coils.

  At last I understand why Renault launched the Avantime - it was to prepare us for the new Megane. We will be made to appreciate Anglia-on-steroids body styling, even if it takes forever. I was hoping that the reverse-slope rear screen pillar was a styling trend which was dead and buried with the Vauxhall Tigra, but what does everyone else think?

  Help! My Renault 19TSE Auto with 1.4Energy lump has a mojor lack of motivation! Its down to the oil cooler that sits atop the auto box - it seems to have corroded and is dumping coolant in the transmission (and vice-versa)...

  Hi, I've got an excellent Renault Megane 1.6 16v RT 2000 W - the new shape ones, which is very good apart from the fact the remote locking won't work! At first the 2 keys worked but only when a fair distance from the car! As you got nearer they wouldnt work!
