  Hi Time to get a new car , I have looked around and taking into account my budget (apprx £2000 ) and my choices are narrowed to the following : Vauxhall Vectra (01 ) plate petrol 83,000 on the clock Volvo S40 (do they do these in Diesels? ) Saab 9-3 or 9-5 (again looking for diesel model ) Looking at Volvo and Saab for safety reputation as well which is important to me. anyone any thoughts or experiences on any of these models?

  Our Volvo lives out and all the window seals and particularly the sunroof seals are all green mouldy. On previous cars I've used warm soapy water and a nail brush but on this Volvo the seal seem to have a kind of felt surface on, so won't take any hard brushing.

  Hello, I am having issues with my 2008 Volvo 1.6 diesel, it is currently driving very slowly (like there is no turbo) there are no warning lighs present, all I am getting is 'reduced engine power' on the message screen. Fault codes where glow plug relay, 02 sensor and cam sensor.

  I have just taken my, perfectly running, C30 1.6 Drive into the local Volvo approved delearship for 100k service. I was informed that, in addition to normal service, I had a leaking injector seal and was advised to have it replaced. On driving home, I found the car to be juddering in 4th and 5th gear at lowish revs.

  Since getting the car about 18months ago we have had it checked by 3 different Volvo main dealers plus an independent diagnostician to try and establish what causes warning msg. "Engine management system requires service". 12 months ago we had manifold swirler arm actuator replaced and the software upgraded.

  Hi, i've just bought a 2000 Volvo V70 T5 Auto (Late shape one) from auction. When I first had the car, the battery was flat and I jumped start it and it started at first turn. Then on the dashboard, the Brake warning light, Traction control light ,ABS light and ENGINE light stay on and it says "brake system failure" on the trip computer.
