Mini - ALL - Clock ticking on condition based services 3 Jul 2021 (Forum)
While the condition based usage adopted by Mini & BMW can be useful if you are a low mileage driver, there is a massive flaw in the system. Last year we bought a 'new', unregistered F55 Cooper S, reg in June. Today, the oil change warning appeared on the Mini app. Mini recommend 18000 miles/2 years as their limit. Somewhat shocked, after speaking to the dealer, I was told the 'clock' on fluids starts ticking the day the car rolls off the production line, not the day it's driven out of the showroom. -

Daihatsu Skywing - Hub-Over-Disk Risk 16 Mar 2020 (Forum)
Driver Side front 43 43 Driver Side rear 33 33 Passenger Side front 52 51 Passenger side rear 33 32 Not as scary as the 90's I was seeing before (though I'll test a longer run) but still apparently consistent with a passenger side bearing problem. I've been reluctant to take it apart because its undocumented, I probably can't get spares, and there seems to be a general concern about the risk of wrecking bearings using a puller or slide hammer on these hub-over-disk / captive rotor designs Here''s Eric the Car Guy on this, at about 1 min 40 secs in. -

Ford Escort - Front designs of the Ford Escort (Mk6 1995)? 12 Feb 2020 (Forum)
Same with the van model - almost all are numberplate at bottom but I found this one https://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NzY4WDEwMjQ=/z/zb8AAOSwT9hcYXB7/$_86.JPG with grille at bottom instead. Even for cabrio I've found this anomaly https://live.staticflickr.com/3849/14535552692_2e95bf572e_b.jpg when literally 99% of other cabrio pictures show it with numberplate in the middle. -
