As far as I can tell I will not have to pay them a weekly rental, I cannot find mention of that anywhere in the Consumer Rights Act. But I do have to pay the mileage. When all is said and done I will then have to take them to court to get back any of the other associated costs and this weekly rental which they are illegally charging me. -

I have contacted the dealer who said "bring it in and we'll look at it"...... which I will do over the weekend. Please can I have some advice on my consumer rights.... Is the dealer liable? Is it wear and tear? Can I expect a heated debate? If it comes to it can I threaten a small claims court? None of these issues may arise if the dealer (as I hope) simply complies and sorts it for me but advice would be appreciated. -
