Carbon quotas - road and air travel 6 Sep 2006 (Forum)
How about a family trip to the US, two parents and three kids would cover a combined total of around 40,000 miles, would they have to buy a carbon quota to cover this? One assumes so, perhaps not a bad thing beacuse it drives home the cost and effect of energy use. Is paying for a carbon quota fairer than fuel tax, variable RFL and BiK etc? -

Ford KA, KA2, KA3 (1996 - 2008) - rust around the rear wiper blade 7 Feb 2009 (Forum)
Can anyone recommend what I should do now? Is there a good filler material on the market which can make a good job of covering the rust hole and preventing further damage? Is it worth me giving it a go myself? I was thinking that a larger diameter rubber sheath may be an option, to cover the affected area. Cheating, I know, but atleast I wouldn't have to be reminded of the rust problem every time I walk up to the car. -

What happens if someone passes away? (insurance) 3 Feb 2022 (Forum)
The other option is to drive the car off road somewhere else, but can the Son drive it to do this? If insurance is not renewed. Then it will need to SORN and it is a pain for test driving a car.... As have to insure and re-tax. Son undecided to keep the car, may be as a spare run about. -
What to do with a deceased's (worthless) car? 27 Aug 2015 (Forum)
Also, the head gasket is on its way out, so safe to say the car is probably only worth a trivial amount. I don't know if I can be bothered with jumping through hoops organising temporary insurance cover and change of ownership to myself, especially as the plan is to take the car to Webuyanycar and see what nominal amount they can give us for it as nobody now wants the car! -

Re: Used car that's been sitting around 2 Dec 2003 (Forum)
While I realise there are possible problems with a car that's been sitting around, realistically is this going to be an issue on a relatively new car (bearing in mind that slow-selling models of cars often sit around on airfields for months before being distributed to a dealers)? -

Just wondering if anyone can suggest a supplier for the centre exhaust section for my car, which will need a replacement to pass it's next MoT? I've done well up till now with National tyres, but they and all the usual suspects (even online) no longer stock the parts. Have also tried owners forums but no joy to date. -
Ford Fiesta/Peugeot 308 - Ford Fiesta/Peugeot 308 Engine query 30 Mar 2022 (Forum)
They both seemed to have part of the engine covered in a knobbled casing which didn't look quite right. I have included photos of the individual engines and a close up of the section I am referring to in the links below, so hopefully they work!
