  The makers claim that adding Cataclean to a diesel vehicle's fuel quarterly will help prevent Diesel Particulate Filter blockages and failures.   The 5p voucher can then be redeemed at any participating Morrison’s fuel station until 3 April. According to the AA's latest fuel price report, the national average price of unleaded petrol is 102p while diesel sits slightly lower at 101p-per-litre. The Easter price deal will lower the petrol and diesel prices to a respective 97p and 96p-per-litre. Asda has also vowed to keep fuel prices below £1-per-litre until 29 March.

  Asda has said that its forecourt prices for unleaded will drop to 119.7 pence-per-litre, which it says brings the price below 120 pence-per-litre for the first time in four years. Peter Cattell, Fuel Director for Tesco said that: "From 6 November we’ll be dropping the cost of petrol and diesel by 1p at all of our 500 filling stations."  The UK is among the ten most expensive European countries for fuel – particularly diesel, which typically costs less than petrol elsewhere in Europe.

  Sainsbury’s announces 5p fuel price cut 29 Sep 2014 (News)
  Sainsbury’s has announced a price cut of up to 5p-per-litre on both petrol and diesel across all of its 294 forecourts, starting 30 September. The cut is not part of a wider offer - so buyers don't have to spend money in store to qualift for the discount.  Avishai Moor, Sainsbury’s Head of Fuel, said: "We always aim to offer our customers the very best value on everything we sell and our latest drop means that millions of motorists across the UK can save money when they fill up with Sainsbury’s.”

  Motorists hit by fourth month of fuel price rises 5 Jul 2016 (News)
  Motorists are paying almost £6 more for a tank of fuel than they were in March, according to a new study from the RAC.  RAC Fuel Watch shows that unleaded has increased by 10p-per-litre from 101.9p at the start of March to 112.1p at the end of June, while diesel has jumped by 11p over the same period, from 101.5p to 112.3p.  "June was another bad month for motorists with the price of petrol going up again," said RAC fuel spokesman Simon Williams.

  The AA has accused fuel retailers of “plundering” motorists by pushing up fuel costs at the pumps at a time when oil prices dropped. Late last week it emerged that the average UK petrol price had risen from 111.9 pence-per-litre in March to 113.3p in April, while diesel had risen by around 0.6 pence-per-litre during the same period, to 118.8p.
