  Got an email from drivethedeal.com stating that renault are gonna put up their prices soon across certain models in their range, is this true? Or just drivethedeal trying to stimulate sales, why would renault increase their prices?

  Hello,    Just wondering if there is any out there how has ever changed a clutch on one of these, my faithful mechanic has now retired and closed up shop. I need a clutch for my renault 19, we thought it was cable but no improvment, and have managed to source a genuine renault kit.    Anything to look out for or to avoid doing, my dad has a ramp in his garage etc, so might give it a go.

  I have been searching for a new van for my business. I looked at the Nissan/Vauxhall/Renault model recently. All have list prices over £19k. Here are the results of dealer discounts. Nissan Interstar £16k + Vauxhall Movano £15k Renault Master £12.5k The renault price is for a brand new factory order LWB van.

    I have a 06 Megane with 51,000 on the clock.  I had the window failure in March and took it to Renault to sort.  I'm disgusted that even though my car is still under warranty, I had to pay 25% of the costs which was £121 for my share.  When I questioned why if it was under warranty did I have to pay at all, I was informed that it was so i would own the warranty of the new part rather than Renault.

  My new Clio only gives a new Renault spec for oil performance. Previous cars used to specify A3 B4 10W40 or 5W40 but Renault only uses their own specs now. I plan taking the car around Europe for a few months and would like to take some oil with me in case I need to top up.

  , luckily there was no accident but the guy behind her was non too pleased to say the least The Renault dealership could offer no explanation, so she has rejected the car. Can you suggest what the problem could have been?

  I've just bought a 2004 (54 plate) renault clio and it's only got 1 key. I obviously want a spare but have heard that getting it from renault will be expensive. I want one that works the remote central locking and does everything, is a renault dealer the only place i can get one?

  FiL is looking at changing his 2006 Scenic diesel for a 2 year old Nissan Note diesel. He's had had lots of expensive problems with the Renault but am I right that the Nissan has the same engine given the strategic alliance between Renault and Nissan?

  Something I'm not willing to do as I've already been stung £260 for a similar arrangement to do with a vibrating heater box. I've been informed by someone in the know that if all the people with a renault trafic that has clutch judder call Renault UK customer services, Renault will agree to undertake the diagnostic work for free so they can get to the bottom of the problem and do a recall if need be.

  Been trying to insure my new van all day and I encountering the problem that when I enter my Reg it comes up with the Renault Master van and not my Maxity. As it is not on their database they are all refusing to insure it.  Any advice on how to move forward with this? I input my reg on here and it comes up with the correct description of the van,  Thanks

  hi all i have recently converted the electronic handbrake back to an ordinary lever handbrake on a renault laguna 2 2006 model is there anyone out ther who knows how to re-program the car to tell it that it no longer has this function therefor removing the annoying error messages apply handbrake etc thanks in advance
