  307 Award and HDI 110 Tax-Beater 4 May 2002 (News)
  The 307 won gold in the Field and Event marketing category for the Peugeot 307 Summer Party launch programme which ran last summer at a series of country venues and where invited guests and their families were introduced to the car. Peugeot defeated rivals Toyota, Nissan, Coca-Cola and Unilever. ISP judges, Geoff Posner, Geoff Howe and Cindy Roper described the Summer Parties as "strong events which overcame test-drive inertia to bring the showroom to a family audience".

  Plenty of variety at March part-exchange auctions 7 Mar 2001 (News)
  Buyers were spoiled for choice at auction today as March trade-ins started to feed through. The best bargains were among five to eight year olds. A 100,000 mile 96P Nissan 3.0 QX SE sold for £3,350, a 75,000 mile 95M Cavalier 2.0iGLS for £2,500 and a 59,000 mile 96N Fiesta Classic 1.1 for £2,300. Even a smart, metallic grey 90,000 mile 92K Mazda Xedos 6 SE automatic, one of the best looking saloons of all time, ran into the wall at a top bid of £1,900.

  Meanwhile, over at Sandown Park on 22nd July, Barons have a Classic Auction featuring two cars bound to appeal to lovers of 'bling'. One is a 1989 Nissan President VIP Funeral Car with an extravagant gold-coloured ‘temple’ body. It is based on a top of the range Nissan President 4.4 V8 which cost some $43,000 US dollars in 1989, without the conversion.
