  Hyundai and Toyota Register Most Cars Under Scrappage 7 Jul 2009 (News)
  Hyundai registered 4,664 under scrappage up to the end of June, and Toyota 4,468, according to the SMMT. Next was Ford with 4,299, whole KIA, FIAT and Nissan registered 2,789, 2,194 and 2,036. Big manufacturers with small results included VW with 356 and Renault with 275. Unsurprisingly, Bentley did not register any cars at all as part exchanged for a scrapper.

  There is always good value to be had in the Motability section. Buy of the day was a virtually new looking 2,600 mile 04 reg Vanilla White Nissan Micra 1.2S, sold for just £4,400. Other cheap cars were a new shape 11k mile 2004/54 Astra 1.6 Club 5-dr Easydrive sold for £7,640 and a 34k mile 02 reg Corsa 1.2 Club Easydrive sold for £2,950.

  Rare Z3M Made £12,550 at Auction Today 1 Jul 2005 (News)
  A 7k mile 2004/54 Picasso 2.0HDI LX (with CD but without A/C) didn’t sell to a derisory top bid of £6,400. A 91k mile 98S Nissan QX 2.0V6 SEL auto with leather was value at £1,600. But to my mind ‘buy of the day’ was a genuine looking 80k mile 96N Jaguar Sovereign 4.0, sold for £3,025. Next Top Car sales at BCA Blackbushe on Mondays 11th and 25th July.

  Geneva Motor Show 2015: Infiniti QX30 Concept nears production 3 Feb 2015 (News)
  The compact crossover will be built on the Mercedes-Benz A-Class platform and is expected to go into production in 2016. The Infiniti QX30 Concept will be built at Nissan’s Sunderland plant and features a muscular design, with sleek coupe lines and carbon fibre cladding, which its maker claims will protect it from light scuffs and chips. The QX30 also gets large wrap around aluminium-trimmed bumpers, along with a large skid plate at the rear, which again will protect its two wave shaped bodywork from damage.  However, the three spoke 21-inch wheels look less susceptible to superficial damage, with a set of low-profile tyres that will all too easily clip an unsuspecting kerb.

  Goodwood Festival of Speed: Supercars to take centre stage 5 Jul 2013 (News)
  Visitors will be able to get up close to the cars as there’ll be a huge static display taking place near the Festival of Speed TECH dome. The Ferrari SP12 EC, Maserati Ghibli and Nissan 370Z Nismo will be shown for the first time in the UK, while visitors will also get a chance to see the launch of the Peugeot Onyx and Renault Twin’Run.  Rolls-Royce is promising a special display, with the launch of its new Wraith, while Aston Martin will be showing off its prototype Rapide Bertone Jet 2+2.

  'Soaring sales' reported for low-carbon car 28 Jan 2009 (News)
  The Spanish automaker reported that North Yorkshire's Nigel Morgan was the "milestone motorist" after he purchased his green car from a Durham dealership. Mr Morgan said that he opted to replace his Nissan Micra with the Ibiza Ecomotive because it had a "sporty" look in addition to being economical and environmentally-friendly. "Since taking delivery I've been delighted with the car," he said.
