Hi all, I am going to buy a used VW Scirocco and have narrowed the search down to 2 cars, however I would really love some advise on which to get. here are the two links: https://www.gumtree.com/p/volkswagen/vw-scirocco-2.0l-tsi-dsg-excellent-condition-low-millage-/1185604740 https://www.gumtree.com/p/volkswagen/vw-scirocco-2.0-tsi-dsg-/1183092251 They are similar age/milage, they also both have full VW service histoy and almost immaculate MOT history. logic would therefore suggest to go with the cheaper, however there are a number of reasons not to: 1. the cheaper one has hidden their registration suggesting something to hide, he did give it to me in order for me to check the MOT. pictures are also limited and not very good, he has admitted to a very small dent hear the fuel cap (quoted at £80 to repair) 2.
