Volkswagen Polo ABS light problem
The ABS light on my 2000 Polo Match remains on constantly despite the ABS still working normally. Removing the ABS fuse makes no difference. My local VW specialist thought replacing the instrument binnacle would work but despite considerable expense it has made no difference. It is otherwise a good low mileage car (56,00) for its age and I'm reluctant to scrap it. Have you any ideas?

Possibly the same fault that has afflicted Golfs and other models. Failure of the brake pressure sensor inside the ATE Teves Mk 60 ABS/ESP module which can be replaced by www.ecutesting.com/ but worth checking the individual wheel sensors and reluctor rings first. Are you sure this is a 2000 Polo with ABS? Not a 2010?
