What petrol alternative should I replace my 2011 Volkwagen Golf Match with?

My current 2011 diesel Volkswagen Golf 2.0 Match, mainly used for an 80 mile (total) motorway commute, has now reached 90,000 miles without incident. I get it serviced every 10,000 miles. Should I cut and run now or just keep going with it for the time being? If I cut and run, can you give me some petrol alternatives please?

Wait for the new Volkswagen Golf with the new 1.5 TSI 150 engine. One of the better small petrol engines (no problems reported so far) is the Peugeot 308 or 2008 or 3008 1.2 PureTech 130 which has a whopping 230Nm torque and does 45-50mpg.
