Within ten years, motorists will be opting for electric vehicles rather than petrol-based alternatives, Sir James believes. Indeed, not having to pay for fuel could free up funds for drivers to use to pay their car insurance and road tax bills.

  • Croft Circuit revs up for historic RAC rally action 28 Oct 2011 (News)
      Its special stage – incorporating its race track and pit lane – will be run first at 4.01pm and again at 4.19pm on the day. Competitors will pass through it twice on each run meaning spectators will see the cars in action four times.   Prior to the high-speed action, however, cars will begin arriving at Croft at 3.20pm as they ‘clock in’ to an on-event Service Park that will be in the circuit’s paddock.
  • BCA Confirms That Used Prices Have Probably Peaked 4 Apr 2009 (News)
    BCA’s latest Pulse report for March shows that although average used car values are continuing to rise, the rate of growth appears to be slowing. March saw average auction values increase for the fifth month running, but only by £11 to £5,582, compared to £5,571 in February. This follows a £400+ month-on-month rise in February and a £300 increase in January. Values started recovering last October and have risen by around 18% in the intervening months.
