  New Suzuki Alto Qualifies for £70 VED 17 Jan 2003 (News)
  Suzuki has launched its new Indian built Alto in the UK today. And this new 1.1 litre car emits just 119g/km CO2 which automatically qualifies of for £70pa VED. Combined consumption is very parsimonious too at 57.6mpg. Engine is a single cam 16v of 1,061cc which puts out 62PS and 85Nm (63lb ft) torque. The car is 3,495mm long by 1,475mm wide by 1,455 high.

  Vehicles will initially be four-wheel drive only from launch, with Audi commenting that safety has also been improved.
