  I have a peugeot 307 with alloys and locking wheel nuts, one of the nuts is refusing to move with the "nut key", it just pushes the "key " off the nut, has anybody got any ideas how to remove it without damaging the wheel?

  I have a peugeot 306 with central locking. It has the fob with the big button and the small button on it. The problem is if you lock the car with the key it instantly unlocks itself. This happens which ever side you try to lock.

  I own a Peugeot 306 1.9 diesel turbo estate. The problem is I am unable to open the engine bonnet. The cable is still connected at the operating lever. I can only assum that the inner cable has become detatched at the bonnet catch.

  I used to have a corsa and found it on that straight away but spend a good half hour looking last night on the peugeot. Can anyone explain where it is please? Cheers

  My friends Peugeot XU 1.9 petrol engine is oil smoking from start-up at tickover or fast tickover speeds, hot or cold. 1) What should the Compressions be when doing a compression test. 2) Can the Valve stem seals be changed in situ, without removing the Cylinder head.

  A flash of madness went through my brain as mrsmender could do with a runabout sometime this year... Will it stay nailed together for 5 years and about 30k miles? Believe the engine is a peugeot built in India any one know which engine is it? I'm not serious at the moment just wondering if it's worth the risk

  A colleague of mine had her '02 Peugeot 206 catch fire last night and its now a write-off. She contacted her insurance company who are refusing to give her a courtesy car as it was "mechanical failure" that caused the write-off rather than an accident.

  We have a local radio station near us,and even outside the building,it won't pick up the signal!!!! The aerial base and aerial were recently replaced with brand new items from Peugeot,but still it persists. Any ideas?

  I've cleaned out the isc and air intake piping and checked for a leak to no avail. Could a faulty O2 sensor cause similar problems?, as I know they tend to crash often on Peugeot 306s

  Hi I have a 1994 peugeot 306 diesel turbo. The warning light has been appearing now for some time however after i keep draining it still won't go out. I unscrew the drain plug and keep pumping the fuel through, I must have pumped though a few few pints now.

  Going to be changing the fuel filter on my peugeot 306 '94 xsi in a few days. Learnt about releasing the pressure here (just leave it overnight), but need to know if it would be a problem getting air in the fuel lines? I've been told that petrol injection doesnt like air in the fuel, so are there any precutions or after fitting remidies?

  It wasn't long before I realised that it was losing brake fluid at an alarming rate. Unfortunately there were no visible leaks. It took me ages to persuade my local Peugeot dealer that the fluid must have been going into the brake servo. They finally agreed to investigate, and lo and behold......! L'escargot by name, but not by nature.

  My '96 Peugeot 406 (101k) speedo has started dropping to zero on an intermittent basis, after a few seconds it flickers back into life again, it may do this several times during a trip then be fine for days, (the mileage recorder and tripometer backlights have gone as well although both are still recording correctly- coincidence?)

  I am trying to find the correct bolts for my Peugeot 306 HDI Meridian. The reason why is as follows: I had my car serviced yesterday, all brakes and discs changed. Drove the car home and back to work this morning. On the drive to work I heard a knocking noise, one I knew, loose wheel nuts!

  Hello, I recently purchased a 2004 Peugeot 307SW (1.6 petrol) but in the 2 months we've had it there have been 5 or 6 occasions when it wouldn't start - Turn the key and simply nothing happens. There have also been countless other occasions when it has started but only on the 2nd or 3rd twist of the key (note: no turn-over on the first attempts - nothing at all - but then suddenly life).

  Someone told me it was likely down to a faulty sensor and nothing to worry about, as it was a common problem on the Peugeots. It has driven fine since, then a couple of months ago it starting juddering as if about to stall, or in too high a gear. I pulled in thinking it might correct itself but it didn't. After calling for some help we noticed that it was also juddering while idle (out of gear, hand brake on) and under the bonnet the engine was physically rocking back and forward.
