  • Best two wheel drive car for snow? 9 Jan 2010 (Forum)
Standard car, standard tyres. I nominate my Wife's elderly Peugeot 106 1.4 diesel. Not got stuck so far and leaves behind all the BMW's and Mercs stranded at the roadside. Light, simple and most of the weight on the front driven wheels. Is this the best formula?

The paint has not been cracked, they are bumps from cyclists whilst it was sitting in a car park. Any feedback, experience etc, recommendations would be gratefully received.

  • Express fit - any good? 11 Apr 2003 (Forum)
Hi, Does any Peugeot drivers (or others if applicable?) have any comments to make about using Express fit to service my 405 TD. Are they good, bad, cheap, etc. I'd be looking at the general servicing rather than broken items replacement but any comments would be great.
  • Style without substance 6 Feb 2003 (Forum)
IMHO Peugeot make the most stylish range of vehicles on the market today. Whether you take the little 206, the 406 coupe, the 307 estate, or the impending 407, they all look superb. It is such a shame that the build quality, as with all French vehicles, is sadly lacking, and the reason I would never consider buying one!!!
  • Front discs 13 Dec 2002 (Forum)
Anyone know what causes front discs to rust? Just had to change my Peugeot 205 XLD front discs after an MOT failure due to rust. They were only two years old and I have done 15,000 miles on them. Perhaps I don't use the car enough or brake hard enough? Thanks.
  • 106 fuel gauge 11 Nov 2002 (Forum)
