Express fit - any good?

Express fit - any good? - glowplug
Hi,

Does any Peugeot drivers (or others if applicable?) have any comments to make about using Express fit to service my 405 TD. Are they good, bad, cheap, etc. I'd be looking at the general servicing rather than broken items replacement but any comments would be great.

I used them to do the last service on my R19.

They definitely did the work, and were very cheap (£39.95 for a 65-point check in Wales). Unfortunately they couldn't actually tell me what they'd done, so I suspect that their 'silver service' is little more than a brake and tyre check and an oil change.

Worse, though they did find faults, including tyre wear (the tracking was severely out) they couldn't even change the tyres that afternoon and I ended up having to go to National instead.

Given that you drive a Peugeot, it's probably worth doing as at least they'll have all the parts on site and, at least where I got my work done, it was very good value for a stated service, although most of it is actually quite easy to do.
