  Stunning Porsche Turbo in BCA Classics Auction 21 Nov 2008 (News)
  Reportedly one of the quickest E-Type racers running in its day, it also took part in the Brighton Speed Trials in 1977 and 1978 and was last raced in the late 1970s before being placed in storage. The car was to sustain damage to its paintwork during the hurricane of 1987 when the roof was blown off the building it was stored in, and consequently the car is offered requiring some refurbishment and restoration.

So the cost of fitting and the cost of storage are, after initially buying a set of winter tyres, the only expenses to worry about for at least a  few years. Furthermore, you’re much less likely to have an expensive or dangerous accident thanks to the improved traction and reduced stopping distances.  If you do buy winter tyres, though, most will have a different speed rating, so you’ll need to let your insurer know you’ve fitted them and your insurance costs shouldn’t rise.

  This was purchased new in 1953 by an elderly doctor and is said to have been used very sparingly up to 1966 when it was put into dry storage, and was not moved again until 2002, when it was acquired by the vendor. It had just one registered owner from 1953 until the vendor registered the car in 2006 and has a recorded mileage of just 10,987 miles.

  The Last 'As New' MG Rovers? 11 Dec 2007 (News)
  Freshly registered on 07/57 plates, these are likely to be the only 'as new' UK-built MG Rovers available anywhere this year. The cars have been in storage since MG Rover collapsed in 2005 and were never made available for sale. The MG Rovers were acquired by car retail group Inchcape, which offers the cars for auction with delivery mileag only. All three cars are scarce or unusual examples.
