  The key has snapped in the ignition of my 1990 BMW 3 Series, anybody got any idea how it might be removed. I had a quote from my local BMW dealer for £250 minimum as they may have to renew most of the steering column? Surley there must be a more straight forward way to overcome this problem any advice greatly appreciated.

  I am considering buying a 3 Series BMW but only have limited funds. I notice that you can now get a N reg "bargain" for about £2K, but i have not been involved with BMW's before. I am therefore hoping that you guys could give me some good pointers and let me know of any pitfalls to look out for.

  i am selling my bmw and i wondered if anyone has got an up to date car value book. The ones i find only go as far back as a N reg. It has 97k on clock,fsh (14 stamps in book,mainly bmw) colour coded bumpers and metalic green paint. everything else as standered. you help is appreciated.

  Hi all, Looking at a BMW 530d at the moment and was wondering what you guys think its worth. It's a Feb 2002 530d SE with no leather but only about 20k on the clock. Immaculate condition inside and out, in light green. How much would a car like this fetch at auction, private sale, and also how much would you expect to pay for it at a BMW main dealer?

  Have just had my 1986C BMW 316 serviced but the computer used to put out the service lights did not cover models as old as mine. Apparently, bridging two of the connections with a paper clip puts out the service lights but all of my contacts cannot remember which ones to bridge, and BMW will not dsiclose such information.

  My daughter has a R reg 318 BMW. The radio reception is not very good, it may be the aerial connections. But where is the aerial in these cars as it has no visible mounted aerial anywhere. Any clues ??

  My neighbours owns a BMW and had his steering wheel stolen. In the camera footage, they were in the car for 30 seconds. They managed to disable the alarm. Only a single beep from the horn.

  my mpg was far below bmw guide. eventually the dealer found that the onboard computer was set to US gallons . when this was changed to Imerial gallons the milage computer mpg was about 8 mpg better.
