Hi both cars will have same engines so can you get cheaper service at Pug dealer as opposed to BMW ..any warranty issues...thanks for replies..

I thought Mini's came with a very low cost servicing package - have they stopped doing that?
You can have a car serviced wherever you like as long as the correct parts are used, but I'm not sure I'd trust any Peugeot dealership. A non-Mini garage may not know about recalls / service advisory's etc.

I was going to ask about that SWMBO's came with the TLC package which cost £500.00 for a 3 year service deal when she had it. Can't see anything on their website. Having experienced rubbish service from a local Peugeot dealer a few (SWMBO's) cars ago there would be no choice if only from the front end customer service thing. ASk yourself his would you buy an used BMW MINI with a Peugeot SH ?

There is no contest here as the Mini TLC package covers 5 years/50k miles for a total cost of £150 inc VAT. !!!! In addition Mini is one of the lowest depreciating cars available in the U.K., so whilst it will be more expensive initially, you will retain far more of your original outlay when you come to sell.!!!!!

Yes - I stand corrected unless the package was different when we bought ours in 2001 - which I think it was...

I think you're thinking of the BMW deal? Mini was £150.

If you look at the Mini webpage site map, then it only lists 'Servicing' for some models. Perhaps they've dropped it on the new models?

One of the benefits of MINI ownership is not having to go near dealerships for Peugeot, Citroen, Renault, Ford, Vauxhall, etc.
