  Spare me the telling off, I know im wrong! But I need advice for my Mum - she has a Rover 111, P reg, 46k. Ive given her my Peugeot 309, K reg, 86k. She prefers the Peugeot to drive. The Rover will reap money which is much needed for her at the moment, but the clutch is on its way out. The Peugeot has been better maintained (in the past as well as the 15k Ive had it.) but the tracking and gearchange aren't too good.

  Hi All, I have been having trouble starting my Peugeot 306 Turbo Diesel. It started by just taking a little longer than usual to get it to fire up, and progressivly got worse until the point where it will not fire up without easy start. This has not just happened on cold mornings, but also if the car had been left for more than 2 hours without the engine running.

  I've now replaced the BSI with a brand new one and had it coded to the car by my local Peugeot dealer but the problem is still there. I thought the wiper relay was incorporated into the BSI on the Peugeot 406 but please tell me if I'm wrong. I've also replaced the wiper switch. I'm now investigating the wiper motor and have noticed that when the wiper switch is in the normal constant wipe mode it does about 9 or 10 wipes and stops and the same with the fast mode.
