Peugeot 406 (1999 - 2004) - 00 2.0 Horn Won't Work 3 Sep 2009 (Forum)
The horn on my Peugeot 406 2.0 HDi Estate isn't working. Having de-cyphered the fuse location description of "buzzer" as the horn I have checked that the fuse (engine bay fuse panel, Fuse 5) is good and that there is a good 12V to the input side. -
Peugeot 307 (2001 - 2007) - 03 2.0 engine problems 18 Jul 2009 (Forum)
Help We have a 53 plate 2.0 HDI and recently every journey has seen the "anti-pollution Fault" light appear and a corresponding rev cut to 2200 rpm - switch engine off for about 30 minutes, fault reset and car back to normal. (Peugeot gave it a good ignoring on the last service) Yesterday as usual light came on about ten miles later going up a hill car made what sounded like a pinking sound and then started to self rev to 5000 ish rpm and emmitted enough white smoke to fill three lanes of the an A road. -
Peugeot 307 SW (2002 - 2008) - 04 1.6 Dual Mass Flywheel 1 Jun 2009 (Forum)
I was advised to get the flywheel and clutch assembly changed at a cost of £600 + labour. I have now read about problems with the dual mass flywheel so have contacted Peugeot who advise that because it hasn't actually failed I cannot claim under their warranty. Now this vehicle is a 7 seater and is often carrying children so I find the fact that they would like me to have an accident in their vehicle quite distressing. -

Hi All, My wifes dad bought her a peugeot 206 last night to replace her 106, after taking it to my work today i noticed that the clutch is slipping slightly. The idle speed on my 1998 Peugeot 1.6LX EST is usually around 800rpm but occasionally gets stuck at anywhere between 1500 and 2500 (often when cold, but also when warmed up). Today it started going up and down wildly until it dropped so low the engine stopped. -

When starting off from rest - in either first or reverse - there is a momentary 2-3 second noise coming from the engine bay sounding like a light metallic tinkling as if a piece of sheet metal is gently hitting another very quickly. -

New Car Peugeot 206SW 22 May 2005 (Forum)
It needs to be automatic transmission. I have found two which seem to fit the bill, the Ford Fusion and the Peugeot 206SW. Of these the 206 is more comfortable and suitable. However, I have heard reports that the 206 can cut out while driving. (BBC Watchdog December 2004) Do you know if this problem has been addressed, or explained.
