  • Chrysler Crossfire in Production 2003 7 Mar 2002 (News)
    Chrysler has announced that European production of its exciting Crossfire coupe is to commence at the Karmann works in Germany in early 2003, and right hand drive imports to the UK are scheduled for late 2003. The car is powered by a longitudinally front-mounted 3.2 litre 90 degree V6 18 valve engine with a single cam for each bank. Power output is 160kW (215bhp) with 310Nm (229 lb ft) torque.

    Hot on the heels of the FIAT Doblo JTD 100bhp Citroen has given us the news we've been waiting for. The Berlingo Multispace is finally to be imported in right-hand drive with PSA's 2.0 HDI engine. With 90bhp, it has 64% more torque than the old XUD 1.9 and 27% more power. Top speed is 98mph, and 60mph comes up in around 12.7 seconds.

    1st May, 2009 – Jaguar Land Rover has confirmed that (hardly surprisingly) it is to begin selling its range of premium performance saloon cars and sports utility vehicles in the Indian market later this year and has today reached agreement with Tata Motors Limited to be the exclusive importer (again, hardly surprisingly since Tata owns Jaguar Land Rover). Jaguar and Land Rover's award-winning vehicles, including Jaguar's XF and XKR and Land Rover's Discovery and Range Rover, are renowned around the world for their unique blend of refined luxury, quality and capability and will now become officially available in this rapidly expanding market.
