  As I'm only eligible for a 3 month warranty, should I book an appointment with the AA for a thorough check-over so that I can provide the garage with a thorough shopping list of what requires fixing? Failing that, maybe take it to a Mazda dealer? What are your thoughts on the matter?

  Hi, the clutch failed on my 6 month old Mazda 6 TS2 Diesel after just 6,000 miles ! Mazda reckon its not a warranty job and so I had to part with £560. I'm not best pleased as I've never had a clutch go on me before, not even on the Rover 420 diesel with 80,000 miles on the clock I sold for the Mazda.

  I am considering buying a Mazda 3, 1.5 petrol SE on a 2016 plate.  My concern is the mileage. It has 82k on the clock.  However, it has had one owner from new with a full service history, the first 3 years with Mazda. Are there any potential problems or things I need to look out for for this at this age (5 years) and mileage.

  Hi all, I currently have a Mazda 6 2012 (Venture Edition) and I'm looking at changing it for something similar. I'm tempted just to go with another Mazda, but does anyone have any recommendations for alternatives? Only requirements are something spacious with a large boot.

  had the car for 4 years but only done 36k miles and if by Magic once the mileage goes over 36k the light goes on and stays on. Brought it from Mazda Dealer when only 3 months old. The Mazda dealer has recently closed down and Sandicliffe Ford now taken over.Has had a full Mazda service history. They say ABS pump faliure and quoted me #560 to fix it and after much arguing offered goodwill gesture of 35%.

  Our 2007 Mazda 2 has just had its two year service, and the front tyres are down to the legal minimum. Mileage currently 10,700. Pirelli P Zero Nero 195/45 R16 V are the original fitment. The rears still have 7mm of tread.

  The Mazda has the better economy and warranty but the Fiat seems slighlty roomier. The Mazda seems to have a better range of colours, the Punto is cheaper blah blah blah.......... The bottom line is that they both have their good points.

  The police came got the car out of the way and it was recovered back to the Mazda dealership. They've had the car for two weeks and phoned yesterday to say they don't know whats wrong with it, Mazda UK don't know whats wrong with it, but they 100% can say its nothing to do with what they did.

  I need to change to something more practical but i have a tight budget due to cost of being a parent and one income. I love this car but i'm worried 83k is too many miles and after researching i know mazda's have some issues with rust. Can i get your opinions.   Car has now got 7,200miles going in for the second time can anyone give advice? My advice if you are thinking of buying a Mazda cx5 2.2d with the problems and experience I have had with the car I loved, don't buy one until Mazda comes clean with the problem that's imaginary ?

  I collect car BUT just 5 months later.[Jan 2016]..same thing... stopped car, phoned Mazda assist etc. Mazda  dealer will not provide paperwork re what they have done to my car. The guarantee runs out in Sept.  I've asked for refund as it is not fit for purpose. All they will do is provide a free oil change.

  My Mazda 6 is ready for its 75k mile service. Mazda dealer wants around £260 for this and of course I get my service book stamped (its up to date so far from previous owners who had it "officially" serviced by Mazda dealers) There are independant servicing companies that I've spotted on the net who claim they will also stamp the book once the job is done eg.

  The Mondeo i looked at they would rather see it rust than sell it to me for £500 less; they have offered me £300 off and told me to do one! My concern is i have been looking at Mazda Approved - this one isn't.  I am hoping to get the car for £14k.  So, do you think a 61 plate Mazda 6 TS2 with 8k miles on it, non-approved, is worth £14k?

  I love the look of the Mazda 6 sport but was put off by the 2.5 litre engine.Since the "6" came out they have launched a special edition called the 'Tamura'.Its based on the ts model but with full body kit and tinted windows.This model suits me perfectly as its got a 2 litre engine instead.The only thing that worries me is the 18" wheels.HJ has said in his review that you should avoid the 18" and stick with the 16" or 17" for the better ride.

  My current Lexus IS220D is being scrapped and I am getting a new Mazda 6. The Mazda does not come with a space saver wheel, but my old Lexus does. Can I simply keep the space saver from the Lexus and use it in the Mazda or will I need a specific Mazda space saver wheel?
