  Totally mad. If you look at the Focus or Golf, you get a normal flat rear section; but the Audi A4 BMW 3 series & V40 are rubbish. ?The V40 even has a lip! Why oh why are the 3 I want so badly designed? You?d think the likes of Audi / BMW / Volvo would know how to make a little estate.

  Helping a colleague at work here, so no posts about 306 Sedans or V70s for a change! The gearbox warning light on his 96k miles 2000 model BMW E46 323i has started to occasionally come on. When it comes on, it stays on until the ignition is reset. BMW diagnostic computer reads an error code for 'Anti Spin Control', but nothing about the gearbox.

  I've got a 728i E38 '96 BMW. I stupidly purchased a set of original BMW 18" 15- multispoke alloys which I was assured would fit - I drove 200 miles to pick 'em up, tried the back only - and aggghhh!!! On getting home and fitting the fronts I find they foul on the callipers.

  The signs are that I'm close to needing a new battery on my 1992 BMW 525i automatic. I thought I'd get a quote from the local BMW dealer but also from a couple of other sources. I'm after a good quality battery at a reasonable price; the trouble is I am out of touch with the technology and don't know what to look for.

  I also have a problem with these tyres on a BMW 5 series. They wear unevenly with high spots on the tread and pull the car all over the place. BMW acknowledge mechanics acknowledge the fact that these tyres are poor ( and expensive) but i would have to change the wheels on my car !

  Audi A3 Saloon 2.0l Diesel Auto This car is around the same initial cost as the BMW but not as good looking for me and as far as I can tell has pretty much all the same pros and cons as the BMW but maybe just not quite as good a drive.  Still great build, reliable and cheep running costs and Tax but as with the BMW, expensive to maintain, bland and boring inside.

I asked if he was the driver of the BMW, he told us that his wife was the driver only after I asked him many times. He turned out to be calling the police, telling them that we were trying to run away.

    I bought my car from CarWorld Supermarket in Peterborough coming up 2 months ago.  I had a problem with no sound so passed it into my local Porsche/BMW specialists to check.  They advised me it is a pretty common fault with the six series that the drain holes in the boot get blocked and then it gets flooded and damages the modules in the boot.
