I've got a 728i E38 '96 BMW. I stupidly purchased a set of original BMW 18" 15- multispoke alloys which I was assured would fit - I drove 200 miles to pick 'em up, tried the back only - and aggghhh!!! On getting home and fitting the fronts I find they foul on the callipers. I guess I could fit a spacer but have no idea where to start or what effect it would have on the handling. Please help........!!!!!!

Turns out the wheels were meant for an E46 BMW (new 3series). If anyone is interested, I have an immaculate set of Radial Style 32 18" wheels complete with tyres for sale. See my post under classified for details - a pic can be found at

Surely if you told the BMW dealer (assuming you got themfrom BMW) what car they were for and they said they would fit but don't, you are within your UK rights of asking for your money back?

If I'd bought them from a dealer I'd be fine..... unfortunately I didn't!!!
I now have alovely set of Radius Style 32 15-spoke 18" BMW alloys for an E46 (offset 47 front 50 rear) for sale at £850 - see classifieds for details!!!!
