I have recently purchased honda accord executive cdti 2005 saloon. I have not been successful in adjusting the trip computer to show the MPG and user manual seems silent on this. All the trip computer seems to show is the number of miles covered in its both section A and B?
Is there a way out? advice needed please.

If it can't show mpg, you could try adding a scanguage2.

I don't believe it will.
One of the press' complaints was no trip computer. I used the trip to record miles between fills and divided that by the number of gallons put in - more accurate than a trip computer.

Of course it is.
What would you rather have? A digital readout that varies wildly every time you use the throttle, or a trip meter, a needle on a comparative scale and enough nous to carry out the simple calculation above.
I've used this system for years and it gives me results so accurate that I guarantee I can look at the trip meter and calculate the amount of fuel needed to fill the 60-litre tank at any time to within 1 or 2 litres.
What more do you really need?
The motoring press is only interested in gadgets to play with in this week's free ride.
