Wondering if anyone can point me in right direction of telling me what i need to buy to fit
Kenwood DPX502

In my astra SXI sports hatch?

Double din fascia + Control cables for steering wheel + the display (if possible)
And anything else i need.

Links or part numbers or something would be great.

i own the 56 reg where did you get the radio from? is it the same size as the genuine or have a seperate plate etc?

I'm looking help because i no nothing about cars :-(

The factory fit equipment is an integral part of the CAN-Bus network on that car.

Don't even touch it without full dealer approval. The damage one tiny error could cause would nearly write the car off.

What's so wrong with the factory music options then?

Have to agree with Screwloose's question. Another thing to consider is that you will have to temp refit the factory fit headunit to change the date/time as you won't be able to do it with the replacement headunit. The date/time only autocorrects with the original headunit via the RDS signal.

I like the look of other radios also.

Guess i'll just ring dealer and find out how much they charge to put in the MP3 connector that doesn't come with the standard radio(last time i checked it didnt). might be wrong?
